Happy Easter Recap

 

 

 

This Easter we had Auntie Aimee and Auntie Noelle and families over.  I crockpotted a stuffed turkey breast and BBQed another stuff turkey breast (from Farm Boy).  The BBq one was sooo easy and yummy.  The crock pot one doesn't brown so I put it under the broiler afterwards just to crisp it up.  Both were delicious and yes there was leftovers.  I have a habit of getting more food than necessary but as a hostess my worst nightmare is not having enough food for my guests:)  We had 10 people over and maybe half a breast left....mmmmm leftovers.

 

 

 

 

The Easter Bunny also came.  Lots of chocolate plus Just Dance 4 and a hockey stick.  We plan to have our annual chocolate fondue soon to use up some of the chocolate.

 

Hope you had a great Easter too.  Daphne also lost a tooth that night so both the Easter Bunny and the Toothfairy left a treat under her pillow.  She woke me up at 2am to tell me this:)

Worst Guest EVER!

In all my Florida recaps I forgot to thank my Dad & Bev for having us:)

Thank you soooooo much for your support through everything and for all the fun adventures while we were there.  I know that Daphne & Breton made some great memories.  Not sure if B will ever go back after the airplane sickness on the way home but maybe if we brought hockey to the Maple Leaf he'd be there?

April Fools Day

Since carol is away, maybe we should take it as a sign.  a sign that we should try to stay together?  I have realized so much since we have been separated.  I really think we could make it work. Sitting with you watching B play hockey and having lunch together on the weekend...

 

 I know you had mentioned that you prefer my hair dark so I promise you that I will never change it again.  But we could keep our separate residences (once you get your new place) and be together but not live together.  Remember that car driver/racer that had a show, I think his name was John Force(?) that's what he and his wife did.

 

I was also thinking that when we re-do our wills that we should name Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed as the kids guardians.  Right? once we put them in our will and something happens to us, they'd have to take them.  Just think of everything the kids would have and get to do.  And Shannon is Canadian so she'd make sure B keeps up with his hockey.  then they'd have the balance of the arts.  daph would probably get the opportunity to actually perform at some point.

 

Brilliant eh?!

Weird Moment Of The Weekend

So I went to Lovely Nails Strandherd and got my brows done.

The girl who did my brows went on and on about how her boss (which is her cousin), he told her not to go on her phone.  She told me she only went on it in order to change the ringtone (cuz the one that she had on was too loud).  Her customer was at the sink washing his hands so...she had a moment.  Anyways, my girl went on and on that she is never ever on the phone except this one time and that her boss is always on his phone.  She was very perturbed and I think she stood up to her cousin (because she is 22 and she truly was not on her phone!).  She needs the job, it's her cousin, but was not on her phone, her customer was washing his hands...I didn't know what to say. "Uh, oh that is frustrating, uh that happened today?" Just had happened. "Uh, that's too bad?"

To be honest, she had an accent and I wasn't sure if she was even speaking to me because my eyes were closed and she was up behind me at my head (I was lying down) and it was a thick accent...

Do these count as a serving of vegetables?  i love this line.  I have natural curly hair and Herbal Essence discontinued my leave in conditioner:(  I have had many a bad hair day trying to fine a new one.  Finally I found this.  I just started using the tomato one for my face and the body lotion (white one) I picked up by mistake (thought I picked the conditioner).  Anyways it helped with this

Part 5 Everday Happenings in Florida
